Happiness is a crazy family tradition you wouldn't give up for the world,
is getting the dog you always wanted (even if it's not real)
is red hair and grass hair
is being yourself and stickin' it to the man
is humour during snack time and yogurt with a spoon
is that first hint of intelligence in their eyes and the feeling you get when you hold them
is art camaraderie and remembering the good times
is a mother's love and brotherly love
is achieving something new and a good book in a snug place
is newborn peaceful baby and quietness
is laughing at unintentional crazy poses and pirate faces
is a family and a familiar friendly face encouraging you to laugh
is a family with which to laugh, or at
is imagination and seeing what the plate can be
is geese and getting within feet of birds
and finally, sometimes happiness just is.
