What are the issues facing GLBTQ?
Some of them you may be familiar with-
Marriage laws that don't protect homosexual relationships.
The military ban against homosexuals in the military.
Workplace and school discrimination of all ages.
HRC has a nice list of issues that face GLBTQ and that they're working on.  It can be here.


Americans always say we're a land of equality.  That everyone has a fair chance here.  But sometimes we have to fight for that equality!  As the saying goes, "freedom isn't free."
We gave equal rights to African Americans.  We gave equal rights to women.  Can we give equal rights to Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgender, and Queer people?  Can we pass laws to stop the double standards and ensure people can be who they are without fear?
Human Rights Campaign is a great organization that's fighting for GLBTQ equal rights.
